How To Determine Proper Width for Your Watch
Lug size is very important so make sure that you know the lug size of the watch you are wearing. In case you don’t know your watch’s lug size, you can try our 3 ways to find out:
– Check the back of your old wristband for any stampings that would indicate the size.
– Make a measurement between the lugs where the strap goes on the watch (measurements are in millimeters).
– Searching online for the specs of your watch model.

So far so good! My husband has a Shinola watch but they’re $115/ea for name brand bands – we got this as a replacement since his original band was tearing apart after a year.
This one was as thick as the name brand, and easy to install. The original was labeled 20mm so that’s what I replaced it with, but appears to taper slightly where it connects to the watch, so I’ll likely try 19mm next time I replace it. My husband likes that the holes are slightly closer together on the Barton, which gave him more options for a better fit. Just installed it so I don’t know about durability yet, but with how sturdy it feels, I can’t fathom it would last much less than the year the $$ band did.
I will say it’s not as buttery soft as the Shinola band, but it looks nice and while stiff now, I’m guessing it’ll soften a bit with time.

This is a great product; I bought it to replace the resin band on my Casio watch. I purchased the all black leather band, with blue stitching to match the watch case. It completely changed the look of the watch and, is worth every penny. One issue (at least for me) was actually replacing the band; I couldn’t do it properly and ended up having a local jeweler do it for me. I recommend having it replaced by a professional; you’ll be happy you did.

I have purchased Barton watch bands in the past, and they have met my expectations. I put a Barton watch band on my brother’s watch 4 years ago, and it has held up well. I wish the leather were a bit softer, but I know that would make them less durable, so I am willing to make the tradeoff. With that said, the bands are still comfortable. The variety is also good, and great customer service.

The silver (Boss) watch originally came with a similar dark blue leather band and, like a beautiful and expensive tie that enhances a man’s suit, it makes the watch look both more distinctive and classy. I intend to try another color next time due to the wide variety of classic colors. (Buy the installation kit to save time and frustration.)
